so many things..

and so, had our AGM in school on Wednesday, followed by the long awaited post-exams party at butter factory. we made it a lightsticks party this time round and the theme was Red Blue Yellow; which explains the above picture! can’t see clearly who was the one waving the lightsticks but i rmb myself doing that so yes, i pretty much like this picture! *laughs*

our new president and vice-president for the coming semester! and at the back is the new committee chart. there was quite a dramatic change for most departments. oh and babe got into the logistics department! hahah, but it wasn’t surprising because it’s so HER! heh.

headed down to butter factory after dinner at newton. i’m glad bernie drove because it made traveling much more convenient. anyways, it was free flow till 1am so yup, that explains for our table full of cups! but it was a really long queue and wait before we could even get access to these drinks.

last but not least, i find this picture really hilarious. teddy was so gone that he needs someone to help him pose for a picture? haha, but the ironic thing is, he can actually still use his phone! *laughs* more photos on FB, as usual. oh well, then, i don’t know how bernie could still be sober enough to drive but he drove us back. thanks all for taking care of me and bernie especially for putting me up for the night.

anyways, talking about phone, my phone has been screwing up for too many times these days. the line seems to shut itself off when i leave my phone idle for some time. i wouldn’t know when and how because nobody could get through to me. all the messages will just flood in when i “break the barrier” by making a call or sending an sms out. it’s so bloody irritating and i think it has caused me to lose quite a few prospective jobs already. cos, tell me how do people get you to work when they can’t contact you? argh.

met up with gladys to shop yesterday and told her about my baking plans. and so, she came over to my place this afternoon for our ambitious plans of doing TWO cookie recipes. *laughs* but yea, the keyword here is ambitious; we only did one in the end because the quantity was quite enough and we were too lazy already. thus, we gave up the 2nd recipe for Choppy Biscuit as pictured above. (yes, that’s a picture from the recipe book)

the summarised recipe on a rough paper. looks pretty easy huh? i admit it was quite an easy recipe to follow but i guess our most tedious step was….

haha, blame if on our skills or on the sifter. we took bloody long to finish sifting the icing sugar and flour. it was draining all our energy; it was like working our hands out in the gym. *laughs* i complained to mummy about it but she actually told me that metalic thing was easy to use. i just wonder if she’s too good, or we’re too lousy. hahah.

finally done with the dough, we started testing on our first batch and the result was…

pretty successful! *smiles*

then, we tested on new shapes..

and new flavours.. heh, make full use of whatever i can find at home. ((:

this is the 2nd last batch; after doing all the drop cookies and odd funny looking cookies, we realised the job could be done so much easily with the nozzle! hahaha. furthermore, the main objective of us wanting to do a 2nd recipe was to play with the nozzle. so since it was canceled, we made full use of it with the remaining dough.

i was washing up by then so all the nozzle-shaped cookies are done by gladys! in any case, our masterpieces were all very beautiful! okay lah, most of them were. well, even if they weren’t, the most important thing is still the taste right? oh btw, the title of the recipe is Basic Vanilla Biscuits. but erm, we kinda lacked the vanilla essence. how ironic. *laughs*

all in all, been long since i last baked. probably the 2nd time without mummy’s supervision. quite a great sense of achievement, hor gladys? let’s do it again some day. this time, we shall use all the different nozzles! be prepared to see more regular shaped cookies! *grins* on another note, i really need some luck with job search. sighs.

headed to suntec for the bookfest with mommy, 5th aunt and my two baby couzys. was looking around for all the recipe books which she is so much in love with and i’m so tempted to bake as well! like seriously.. i shall go flip through all the recipe books stacked in the cupboards and find something to bake this coming week since i’m so free. *grins*

bought the fox pullover which i always wanted to have and mommy paid for it. however, i’m experiencing purchase dissonance already! gosh, so typical me please.. on a side note, my daddy is a champion! he just earned himself FOUR thropies from the NTUC Grandmasters Bowling 2008 event and a fair share of CASH! woots, i’m so proud of him. ((:

finally FINALLY met up with my darling DAZ after so so long. the last time the 4 of us met together was like even before i started school. now that my semester has kinda ended, can you imagine how long that is? but we didn’t had much time to spend before the night ended so it was just a short session.

dear raisa overslept and we made us all so so so worried with her not answering the calls and all. she was late for like an hour which was so unlike her! ps: if it was ting that’s SO late, we wouldn’t really be surprised. HAHAH jkjk. anyways, we decided to meet somewhere near - the old school coffeeshop! had always wanted to meet there again where our dear school was. ((:

celebrated ting’s birthday. a very very very belated one. fyi, her birthday was on the 10th of September. hahah. just a very simple small cheater cake but still, you know we love you my dear! ((:

believe it or not, it was my very first time using parking coupons! was so afraid i’d tear off the wrong tab or something. do your maths and that’s how long we spent at the coffeeshop before moving on to the next place.

we thought for quite long before thinking of a perfect place - swimming pool by raisa’s condo! but sadly, had a bad encounter with the security guards and we had to leave.

impromptu, we headed to the roof of a multi-storey carpark beside the condo where we chatted for a little while more. then, there has to be this freaky resident who kept shining his torchlight on us! was so irritated and not wanting to get into trouble, we decided to head home. it was pretty late by then anyways.

sent my girls home and i’m really REALLY sorry you girls had to see the very very very bad side of driver yee. somemore, this is the first ever time i’m driving them after 10 months of acquiring the license. ): well, i guess most other people who were my passengers before had seen it too but i swear, this was the worst! hahah. guess i really need more practice and controlling of my emotions before i can be a good driver. but somehow, i’m really starting to hate dislike driving.. HMM.

so many things left unshared and incomplete. hopefully we can meet up again real soon and for a longer time! LOVES.
