so this year, we (the clique) decided to do away with setting resolution for the new year and coming out with end-of-year punishments for failing those resolutions together on a fancy piece of paper. but I happened to come across an interesting article posted by chu and I thought some of them serve as good self-reminders on certain issues I’ve always wanted to address.

continuing our tradition of writing resolutions, spent NYE with the clique once again. entertainment level up by 50% with the silly punishments for failing to fulfill 2012 resolutions. anyway, the past year was pretty well-spent. accumulatively, i actually went for holidays for more than 3 weeks with boyf. hoping to travel more with him and clique of friends in the coming year, embark on more new adventures and of course, fulfill my 3+1 resolutions too. wishing everyone a prosperous 2013! ❤

spent birthday with loverboy this year. no extravagant celebrations, just a simple day out. well, the whole week was like a birthday treat anyways. Christmas was boring though, given the fact that Perth was like a dead town. still, thankful for the chance to be there, seeing boyf after a good 4 months.
thank you love for everything. for being my chauffeur, my photographer, my sugar daddy, my atm machine, my trash bag, my man… oh, i also appreciate all the texts, facebook and twitter (though not a lot) birthday wishes from friends who remembered. warms my heart! (:

Christmas tree in the office has been up for nearly a month now. and once again, snow is “falling” on this blog as well. i’ve always loved December. loving it even more this year with so many things to look forward to.. and it’s exactly 2 more weeks till my short little break to Down Under. i’m feeling butterflies in my stomach already…

so we wrapped up our annual games day in a flash. the preparation was disastrous; probably cos we started preparing too late this year. for the first time, we weren’t completely ready even up till an hour before the event began. other than a little hiccup here and there, everything went well (i guess). thank you all who attended and of cos the team who helped out. we totally made a miracle happen. *raise champagne glasses*
PS: i’d really love to upload some photos from our hardwork but i’m too lazy. guess instagram made me so… lol

spent the past weekend with a bunch of crazy girls in a makeupmeltinginmysweat state. i must say the continuous 12 hours of standing for 3 consecutive days really drained me off all energy and my legs off all strength but the cold, hard cash that we received at the end of everything was all so worth it! and it was a good experience learning all the names & teams that i’ve never bothered to before.. plus, i actually enjoyed the little bitching around with the young ladies. *smiles
now now now, can’t wait for the LTE S3 to arrive in Singapore so that i can lay my hands on this beautiful gadget. afterall, that was what i worked so hard for.. HEH

spent the first hour plus of the year with the clique as usual, writing and sharing our resolutions. great to have baby “by my side” too although just virtually. spent the rest of the day at the annual thanksgiving in the morning and then to work. nothing really specially but we baked a cake to celebrate 2012!
hope the year will mark a great start for everyone and all my fellow dragon babies, it’s finally going to be our year, again! heh.

15 days of CNY is long over, in a wink and sometimes i wonder if it’s a good or bad thing that i’ve got nothing much to blog about lately. could be that i’m less emo, could be that i’ve no interesting happenings, could also be that i’m having too much life, too busy to come to this space! whatever the case though, i had a good time catching up with all the important people in my life over reunions, steamboat gatherings, house visits, card/board games outing and all. as for now and the days to come, am looking out for new challenges and hoping for some change in my mundane life…

it’s the fabulous festive February again! since last year this time, the thing i appreciate most is having days off from work. done with a couple of reunion gatherings/meals with friends over the week and tonight will be the most important one with my family. hereby wishing everyone has an awesome time this weekend.
