sunday was a pretty packed day. not that i’ve loads of events on the list, just that the time seems to be running against me. *laughs* first half of the day was spent celebrating our dear boys’ birthdays. next half was liting’s wedding dinner. shall update about the later part another day because i haven’t got the photos ready.

didn’t celebrate mother’s day like how we used to in previous years.. everyone’s kinda busy and tired so we just had a simple dinner nearby. but well, people always say, “it’s the company, not the place, that matters”. so yes, very true. dinner with the family is always great. shall exclude all the details because they are all inside jokes. in any case, i love you, mummy! *grins*
here, if you can’t read the words on the box, maybe you can take a look at the thing inside the packagings. what do they resemble? *laughs* alright, if you still can’t figure out, let me tell you. it’s CONDOM! hahahaha. oh, not exactly that condom lah. they’re just chocolates. heh. it’s a gift brother bought from his taiwan trip. they’re quite yummy actually.. thanks eh! happy birthday to Mother Earth! and yong beng wants me to mention that he sang a birthday song for Her. but luckily, it was through MSN – you wouldn’t want to HEAR him singing it real time. *evil laughs
and hey, it’s about a month till the GREAT SINGAPORE SALE! okay, not like i’m a big fan of it but.. it’d be a good chance for a serious retail therapy session! as for now, i shall try to save up and cut down on spreeing.
completed another book today in half-awake mode. anyways, been sleeping pretty early recently but it doesn’t seem to help fend off sleepy bugs during work. will be heading for the bed soon and hopefully i can wake up for my Reds game later on. (:
went chevrons to sing again. asked the gang to go in the afternoon to save us the duper late sleeps and traveling. but well, we still stayed until after 1am though we went at 2pm. totaled up to nearly half a day immersed in music.
had an advanced celebration for daddy whose birthday falls on the 17th, which is tmr. drove sister to collect the cake at the interchange area nearby and i kinda had some driving training. drove into this carpark with so many cars jammed inside that i almost couldn’t find a way to come out. but luckily, my boy is very tiny, with no backside. LOL
i don’t know why there were only 2 candles but i know that the cake is super yummy! although we seem to buy the same premium D24 durian cake from emicakes every year (with almost the same writing on it), it never fails to satisfy our tastebuds.. (:
anyways, happy 20th birthday to my dearest RAISA! although we didn’t spend your actual day together, you do know that we love you. we shall meet up real soon alright. hmm, wednesday hopefully? ❤s
as the title suggests, we celebrated zhi zhong’s birthday yesterday. and yes, it was the actual day. had a few surprises for him which some wasn’t that original but still… it’s the thought that counts, right? spent the day at his house before we went over to boat quay for dinner & night program. i think it was already past midnight when i reached home..
