The eventful weekend

so long..

and so we caught Jay Chou’s The Era concert at the indoor stadium on Friday, 23rd July. it was my virgin concert session and i was pretty disappointed that it wasn’t as good and high as i thought a concert should be but overall, it was still good. well, it’s Jay after all! love all the parts where he played the piano, the guitar, and when he changes the lyrics because these are all acts of his talents that i really appreciate. right after that night was the little getaway to Phuket. i swear it was a totally adventurous one and till now, i am still amazed that SO MUCH can actualluy happen to us..

Back in SG

a good 7 days 6 nights.

just like that, the long awaited week’s trip to Taipei with EPIC is over! the weather over there was super ownage, think we hit the lowest of about 9°C on the last night. and we were all pretty champions in our dressing especially me and buddy on certain nights. imagine wearing a singlet or sleeveless top. *laughs* oh ya, we clubbed on the first night upon reaching there. bought another bottle another random night and drank again. partyworld-ed on the last night/morning for 6 hours and did a lot of other crazy stunts like walking in the rain near the sea with all the breeze. watched hai pai tian xin live on TV and loads of other variety shows. oh oh oh, and i had my hair permed the afternoon just before we flew back! (:

see all the NTD? EPIC’s gonna go on our long awaited getaway to Taipei later! in fact, our flight’s in about 12 hours’ time! heh. anyways, haven’t been blogging for one main reason – i couldn’t open my photoshop. but i figured i should do an entry before i go if not it feels like i abandoned my blog without any notice. so yup, as you can see.. the picture above has no domain stamp. hopefully i can get a job soon and get myself a new laptop and get photoshop to work again!

8 days at Taiwan

rights, finally a short summary of the trip that i’ve been mentioning for at least the past 8 entries. haha. trying to write up an entry based on some notes i made in point form throughout the trip.

had a great experience and insight there. specifically, the toilets. the flushes over there are not strong enough so somehow, we had to constantly rmb to dispose our used toilet papers in the bin beside instead of into the toilet bowls. so yup, you can alr imagine the “fragrance” in the toilets. haha. and i had loads of regrets, one not being able to find my vivitar which has been hiding for the past 2 months as there were really great scenery i could have shot with it. ):
