Sneak peek

spent the sunday with the clique. with photos named up till 0604zzzzzzzw (if you know how i name my photos) and work starting tmr, i’m quite sure the photo entry wouldn’t be ready so soon. so here’s a sneak peek..

with the hot weather, lousy mood and killer headache, the day was definitely not enjoyable. but still, i treasure all the time spent with the clique. and i’m pretty sure the guys had a hell loads of fun with their PSP and monster hunting, while we girls, on the other hand, entertained ourselves with my love. so well, the day isn’t that bad after all.

and we realised that, i’m seeing xumige like 7 days a week! you know…. i don’t even have time to miss her. *grins*

Unfound

The pharmacist arrives at work to find a frightened-looking man against the wall.
“What’s wrong with him?” the pharmacist asked his clerk.
“He wanted cough medicine but i couldn’t find any, so i gave him a laxative.”
“Laxatives won’t cure a cough,” yelled the owner.
“Sure they will. look at him. he’s afraid to cough.”

a very random joke i came across in RD. anyways, it really sucks to not have photos because there isn’t anything else interesting to look out for in this space. unfortunately, the memory card didn’t work on wu’s laptop either. hopefully i can get a USB cable from the company tmr and get the pictures loaded.

hmm. went chevrons’s aviary ktv last night with the extended gang. the place is so nice that it beats going to partyworld and kbox. but too bad, i can’t be a chevrons member. ): we sang from about 11pm till the last song at 2.50am. the drinks there are kinda cheap too but my choices were restricted because i had to drive. and i’ve been having this terrible headache since last night which i think i probably just need more rest.

oh yea, it’s monday again tmr and it’s hello to 4th week at nikon. university posting results should be out anytime soon and i’m keeping my fingers crossed. come to think of it, i’ve got no idea what to do if i’m rejected from NUS and NTU because i didn’t do anything called “back-up plans” & “applications elsewhere”..

anyways. work today was quite lifeless. my supervisor wasn’t around for the first half of the day. basically i just did the data entry thing she gave to me (due end of next week). i finished half of it by lunch time and the rest by the end of the day. but well, i gave up a pile of the forms because it was so illegible. i think these people really need to practise their handwriting.. *shakes head*

have been braving the rain to go lunch these few days. without jacket, it’s really freezing! anyways, am quite lucky that fuji xerox tower is pretty tall. because i don’t actually know where i’m heading every now and then. so when i lose my way, i just look up and try to spot where i’m going! HAHA. but ok lah, i’ll get used to that place soon i hope.. (:

oh yes, lastly.. congrats to mingwei for being a licensed driver too!

Interviews

damn funny please. i don’t know why there are people so free to do this. anyways, faced a panel of 3 interviewers today. japanese mnc, stressful job scope, but opportunity to learn a lot. went on quite well but there was this lady who made things damn bad. she don’t seem to like me. hur. i’d have been confirmed to start work on monday if not for her. RAR. now i don’t know if i have to continue finding jobs. oh well, shall see how it goes..

Wonder

links page up, layout changed. have got no idea what else i can spend my time on already. sometimes i just wonder what i should be or would be doing instead. anyways, it is a pretty nice weather to sleep in today, don’t you agree? but somehow, i got awaken by calls from those recruitment agencies, giving me false hopes yet again..

because i’ve got no income, i seek no pleasure in shopping online & offline already. wondering and wandering. life like that is seriously very tiring. another 8 days till the release of final semester’s results. and on another note, it’s been 9 days since i last got in touch with my boy. i’m probably losing touch soon..

Recruit express

woke up damn early this morning. not like very VERY lah. but considered early because it is holidays and i slept at my usual 2am. reason? because my dear dancing partner and i sent dozens of resumes out the night before. but unlike her having like countless phone calls to go for interviews, i’ve only got one. and yes, the same one as hers. being only half-awake in a blurry mode, i actually got up to write some details on the white board which i find it quite out of point when i’m sober.

well, went for a couple of interviews forms-filling sessions with recruit express (the agency). quite dumb because the forms are all the same. but well, i suppose the jobs they are going to source for and offer us are different. anyways, being really picky, we rejected all the $6/hour jobs. LOL. now we’re keeping our fingers crossed because we believe there will be better offers.. come on, pray hard! (:

shared waffle with dancing partner as it’s gelare’s waffle day! yummy yummy. met up with sister to shop awhile and home sweet home. seriously, i’m like dead beat already… now it’s time for all my shows! heh.

In and out

had our 4e3 class gathering yesterday at holland V’s essential brew. was quite amazed that many many turned up. some even brought their other halves. had a reservation for 20 pax and eventually we filled the spaces up. the place was nice to chill but not very comfy for us wearing skirts. went to this bar after that for drinks and their soccer match but left earlier to catch the last bus.. as usual, waiting for others to send me pictures. (:

woke up quite early this morning and went to the opposite block for du jing ban. it was my first time there so it’s quite stressful. but although the kids were so hyper that it was kinda hard to control, their cuteness offsets everything. well, too early for any conclusion. shall see how the following sundays go..

bought myself this to reduce the stress on my phone since i decided not to change till my plan expires. didn’t think there is a need for a very good and expensive one cos this mini 2gb zen stone plus is already more than enough for me.

and yea, one thing to feel happy about.. all 3 pays are finally here! but, other than these, my income is like stagnant already while the outgo is never-ending. guess most is spent on food during gatherings as well as traveling. well, shall stop whining about getting a job because i know i’m going to get one eventually. LOL. and it’s time to save up for taiwan trip this december already! (:
