headed down to SIM after work. as you can see, i didn’t even have to queue. i’m glad i chose the right day to go. anyways, it’s my only back-up plan so far. did as everyone told me: treat it as a lottery. even if it’s a hopeless, meaningless bet, at least i tried.. *laughs*
been pretty busy at work; articles after articles. didn’t even have time for MSN, let alone any time for books. now it seems like i’m going to need some motivation over here. hahah. anyways, happy birthday couz! (:
right, the weekend is coming to an end in a blink of the eyes. i thought the week went on pretty fast although there wasn’t much to keep me occupied. well, daddy claims that i’m hooked to ace attorney which i definitely think otherwise. in fact, i just want to complete the game sooner so that i can stop facing that little pink device.
anyways, this is one of mommy’s specialty – little cup cheesecake. i volunteered to be her little helper last night so that i’ll deserve more of the leftovers. *grins*
have been doing research for my work recently so didn’t have much “free-office-hours” to read already. because of that, the passion seems to have died down once again. but nopes, shall not let it happen and i’m going to finish up the books on hand as & when i’ve got the time. i saw this quote somewhere and i find it very true.

this is a book about the author’s broken childhood and how she managed to walk out of the darkness. i think it’s pretty inspiring and it really makes your heart go out for her. if you like life stories, this is one book you should get. she was featured in one of the articles in the February 2008 issue of Reader’s Digest where they advertised her blog. and yup, that was where i came to know about her book..
my Reds almost did it.. two goals in total against the Blues with an empty score sheet. too bad one was scored on the wrong side of the field. it was already like the last 5 seconds! damn riise’s head.. seriously dumb. now Chelsea is leading with an away goal not scored by them! *grumbles
and i’m quite sure this isn’t his first own goal for LFC.
happy birthday to Mother Earth! and yong beng wants me to mention that he sang a birthday song for Her. but luckily, it was through MSN – you wouldn’t want to HEAR him singing it real time. *evil laughs
and hey, it’s about a month till the GREAT SINGAPORE SALE! okay, not like i’m a big fan of it but.. it’d be a good chance for a serious retail therapy session! as for now, i shall try to save up and cut down on spreeing.
completed another book today in half-awake mode. anyways, been sleeping pretty early recently but it doesn’t seem to help fend off sleepy bugs during work. will be heading for the bed soon and hopefully i can wake up for my Reds game later on. (:
it’s been damn long since i last read a book. got myself Nicholas Sparks’s first novel, The Notebook, from the library on saturday and it kept me company in the office today.
after about 2 months of on & off playing, i’ve finally completed the game – Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. at the last episode, all the queries of previously unknown facts are revealed one by one. it is really interesting to see how everything make sense after all the broken links are rematched. the storyline is drafted out quite perfectly though the game is a little wordy throughout. in any case, i love it!
was wiki-ing about the game and i realised there are 3 Ace Attorney games prior to the one i’ve completed. (click here) and boy, am i glad.. afterall, it’s the only game so far that has kept me playing the NDS. so yup, i’m starting on my new episode of the first game – Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. i reckon that the 3 games will be enough to keep me company for a couple of weeks, if not months. meanwhile, i’ve downloaded and am still looking for similar games. do let me know if you have any to intro alrights? *smiles
met up with my girls last night after a long week of office torture. (hmm, not exactly torture for me though, cos i kinda enjoyed my week, with the last 3 days as a receptionist) *laughs
we went vivo which is a super give-in to miss wushuyi because her workplace is just right beside the mall. which makes her, of cos, the first to reach, and wait the longest. our initially plan was to shop but we didn’t exactly do that. had dinner, some shopping, some ice cream, some photo-taking and then home sweet home already.
