Nikon, my love

come on everybody, say hello to my new love! seriously, i love my supervisor! i wonder if she remembers that i’m only a temp staff.. she won’t be around for 2 days which means i’ll only get to see her on tuesday. so meanwhile, i’ve got some tasks on hand. hope they’ll last me till then. heh.

and the pretty pen (shown below) is added to my work collection. haha. oh, and and and, i’ve got an email address too! ok, i’m just kinda amazed about this TEMP job i got. lol.

anyways, results will be out in like 13 hours’ time! let’s see if my LO loves me alright? time for dinner but before i pen off, you may want to click below if you are interested to know the condition of my HTC touch now. ciaos! (:

anyways. work today was quite lifeless. my supervisor wasn’t around for the first half of the day. basically i just did the data entry thing she gave to me (due end of next week). i finished half of it by lunch time and the rest by the end of the day. but well, i gave up a pile of the forms because it was so illegible. i think these people really need to practise their handwriting.. *shakes head*

have been braving the rain to go lunch these few days. without jacket, it’s really freezing! anyways, am quite lucky that fuji xerox tower is pretty tall. because i don’t actually know where i’m heading every now and then. so when i lose my way, i just look up and try to spot where i’m going! HAHA. but ok lah, i’ll get used to that place soon i hope.. (:

oh yes, lastly.. congrats to mingwei for being a licensed driver too!

Downgraded

bought a new phone today. like finally, i’m downgrading! but it doesn’t matter because it’s an SE phone! heh. so now, before i sell away my HTC touch, i’ve three phones on hand! grins* but well, it also means a hole in my pocket alrights.

Marketing assistant

maybe i should take back my words. the lady called me yesterday and i’m chosen for the job! alright, not exactly chose lah, but maybe they just can’t find anybody else so they settled on me. LOL. so yup, today is my first day of work! anyways, being a road idiot plus considering the fact of packed trains, i left home super early.. and thus, i reached like 40 minutes early. -.-”

spent my first hour touring the company and being introduced to everyone. nothing to do for 1st day, only a pile of magazines & brochures, and a computer which i can only use MSN discreetly. seriously, it was quite tough to act busy with only those. i think i finished reading the two magazines and parts of the reader’s digest.

so i spent hours surfing, looking at all the cameras in the market, beautifully taken photographs, and tips on how to take them. it made me so so so tempted to buy a camera and start firing please! but well, i guess tomorrow will be the start of my stress. haha

they were damn efficient though. my access pass to enter the office is done, an email account is coming my way also by end of the week. and other than the thumbdrive my supervisor passed me, i even have the nikon windbreaker everybody in the office is wearing! i was only eyeing on it and didn’t think i, as a temp staff will have it. heh, saves me the trouble of bringing jacket to the winter place.

i forgot what else i wanted to blog about but yes, congrats to gladys for being a licensed driver now! (:

ZZ’s 20th

as the title suggests, we celebrated zhi zhong’s birthday yesterday. and yes, it was the actual day. had a few surprises for him which some wasn’t that original but still… it’s the thought that counts, right? spent the day at his house before we went over to boat quay for dinner & night program. i think it was already past midnight when i reached home..

Rule #1

to avoid a super long post which doesn’t really seem to fit this space here, i’ve decided to split my entry into 3 posts. right, on that night of my movie marathon (which was saturday), caught the late night show at west mall with sis. i think the movie was kinda more funny than scary. still, as a horror movie, there were several instances where something will just pop out and scare you. but i remember screaming only once.. hmm. i would say the ending was quite stupid although it wasn’t those very expected kind. in any case, shawn was damn gorgeous! heh. overall, i think the show would be so much better if it wasn’t dubbed because “fiona” sounded really bad. =\

Marathon

movie with the gang last night. wasn’t very satisfied with the show but, at least there were some parts that was funny enough to make us laugh. drove them home after that and i guess it is the first time i reach home the latest when the cinema is just opposite my place. anyways, have been b*tching too much recently and it seems like time to refrain myself a little already..

caught these 2 movies online earlier on although i don’t really understand them without subtitles. haha. despite having a little laugh in the beginning, meet the spartans was a total crap, so i didn’t bother to finish it. the music and dance in step up 2 was great but of course, the first sequel is always better. quite a handful of movies coming up too! shall catch them on weekdays but right now, getting a job is like more important.. lol.

Interviews

damn funny please. i don’t know why there are people so free to do this. anyways, faced a panel of 3 interviewers today. japanese mnc, stressful job scope, but opportunity to learn a lot. went on quite well but there was this lady who made things damn bad. she don’t seem to like me. hur. i’d have been confirmed to start work on monday if not for her. RAR. now i don’t know if i have to continue finding jobs. oh well, shall see how it goes..
