first day of 2014 was spent with my uni clique of friends (Recycle Bins) after breakfast with the folks. at brunch, I received my first birthday cake of the year, brought over from last year. made the same wish over and over again, believing it will come true soon.

finally done with a task i’ve been procrastinating since before my December holidays. deadline met, tons to be done in time to come but right now, i want to just give myself a break. was trying to refresh the look of my blog for CNY after renewing my domain and i got absorbed into reading my past entries…
back, for now.
i came to realise that blogging has slowly become an insignificant part of my life although i’ve become more attached and connected to the www. (so much so that i almost forgot how to add a new post). facing the computer and accessing the smartphones/tablets every moment everyday, it’s an irony that i don’t update this space anymore. i wonder if i just lost interest or that it’s the convenience of the social media that’s taking over it.

was randomly visiting my own blog (ya, i am that bored) although i haven’t been updating it and i realised SNOW is falling on this space again! wow, in the blink of an eye, the festive season is around the corner already! heh. anyways, December has always been my favourite month but somehow this year, i can’t wait for it to be over. so looking forward to 2012, reunion with the boyf, our little getaway, CNY and all! well, it’s another 2 weeks to my birthday yet i’m not exactly excited.. why oh why!

as the year slowly comes to an end, we tend to be more emotional and attempt to reflect on our doings for the year. anyways, change change CHANGE! so many changes around me, so many changes that i wanna do as well. in a way, feel like i’m somebody who’s always waiting for a change THAN really working on making one. probably time for some “real” change. for a start, made a little amendments to the fleur de lys theme. a little colour change and my dear little e<3 logo. something for the new year at least? was randomly commenting on one of my friend’s blog, making me log into my long-forgotten blogger account. looking through my User Profile made me realised how much i used to love playing around with the old Photoshop and html codes and all, coming out with a chunk of silly blogskins. i can safely say i’ve never used a template provided by Blogger itself because i was too anal to want every customized and unique to my own style..
