my lovely carroty heart. hahaha. anyways, was in the kitchen almost the entire day after the usual duper-early breakfast session with my family. happily being mummy’s little helper again. prepared some food for the guests coming in the evening. despite MOST of the guests being her friends, sis only helped a little here & there and went for all her beauty self-therapies.
after 48 years, the nation’s finally seeing an Olympic medal again!
kudos to the lady paddlers!! anyways, although they represent Singapore, and are doing the country proud, they are still of other origins. HMM. i wonder if there will be a day where a true-blue Singaporean can do us proud like that. but as a matter of fact, it’s really very hard. local kids nowadays can’t take hardships at all. that’s probably why we can never train a sportsperson as well as those in other countries. you think the Sports School is useful? hah, don’t bother. so yea, in conclusion, we still have to depend on foreign talents.. ironic eh?
rights, i didn’t watch the match actually. was in the council room the whole evening with fellow MnPians working on the 3D alphabets. and i can tell you, it’s really really tough. we worked 2 hours on an alphabet, (achieving nothing) before we gave up and went on to the other. pretty irresponsible i know, but at least, the choice got us some productive results! heh. worked until the security guard chased us out and went for supper a late dinner with bernie, zhaoting, teddy & althea. i swear they really make people go “ha ha ha”. hey! remember this guy? hahaha.. yup, it’s DERRICK! he was my idol during Project SuperStar season 1. but from what i recalled, the first time i heard his voice was during some enrolment talk in Ngee Ann when he performed for the Song Composing Club and i really REALLY love his voice.. anyways, have been anticipating his album which was rumoured to be out in March but never came. well, no more waits! it’s officially stated that his new album 《无法归类》 will be out this month! in the meantime, check out his blog & youtube space. movie date with my girls after work. tickets were cheap but not the dinner. oh wells, i guess they balanced each other out. *laughs* anyways, the show was pretty hilarious. i’d say it’s quite worth catching although the ending was a little cliché. hmm, can you picture having a very good friend whom you meet up with so often throughout 10 YEARS that you’re so used to his/her existence? maybe it’s time to get married too! heh. i wished i had someone so special in my life like that too..
anyways, didn’t catch champions league finals cos i was too lazy to wake up. hence, i read the news first thing in the morning and it was kinda disappointing. though i’m personally not a supporter of either teams, i kinda think Chelsea deserved the title more – according to the reports and how the game was played. well well, in any case, the conclusion is: Man U won, period. been sleeping late recently. and the cause was #1: catching life made simple on tudou.com & #2: sending the super big photo file to my girls. so as expected, sleepy germs made me doze off during work. but come to think of it, i wasn’t exactly working also.. heh.
been finding things to do.. other than drawing, i searched for online news to read from yahoo, mypaper, today and thenewpaper. then, i came across this news which is also published in the new paper today.

it’s like totally incest right? i don’t understand how they can do it. so is their baby going to be his child or his grandchild; her child or her sibling? it’s so complicated to even draw the links. but well.. since there is no right or wrong in love, who are we to judge them?
anyways, something interesting.. i bought my train concession today and it only cost me $7.50! *laughs* i didn’t cheat the machine ok.. it’s because the student card is EXPIRING next monday. how sad. i’ll be a step closer to leading an adult’s life without student privileges. ):
pretty stunned upon reaching the MRT station this morning to find only one entrance to the platform. the station was packed full with the usual morning crowds – angry and frustrated because even the SMRT staff don’t know the situation with the disrupted train service.
took me half an hour stand-watching to finally realise train towards jurong east was actually available. reached about 5 minutes late for work but of course, i wasn’t the only one. lol.
anyways, did a search online and found the article (here). i seriously wonder when all these MRT jumpings can stop. a dead man; accident or suicide? hopefully i can hear about it from the news tonight.
