Testing, 1, 2, 3

a little update about work.. changed department a few days ago but i don’t exactly know what post i’m holding now. in any case, time passed pretty fast ever since. been doing testing, testing, and more testing. the above picture shows a couple of test account emails i created on my domain. actually i think the email addresses are really beautiful! anyone wants one too? *laughs*

anyways, lunched with my colleagues today. yes, after more than 2 months, this is the first time i’m lunching with them. amazing huh? but still, i kinda prefer eating alone.. can’t really help it i guess. afterall, i’m really quite a loner at times..

oh, and today – 23rd May 2008 – marks the start of great singapore sale!! not like i’m a big fan of it but…. is it time to do some shopping yet?! there’re so many things i need! *looks around and start taking down notes* probably i should go work for a year and earn some buckaroos before studying again. hmmmmmm….

Craves

snack of the day! failed to have fruits for lunch as planned (on my much-desired diet plan). on the contrary, i even added a packet of junky to my snack list. i swear it’s damn sinful but well, cravings are hard really to resist. anyways, time flew like a tissue paper being blown by a strong gust of wind today! many many little tasks makes up a busy Monday. you can say i’m sick for thinking like this but, i love being busy at work! *laughs*

Goodbye lunch-mate

a cranky laptop which doesn’t seems to load anything except that bloody blue screen forced me to use the super big screen desktop. i’m glad both my dad & my sis ain’t home yet. if not, i can’t even picture myself having the chance to sit where i am sitting right now.

well, today marks the last day of xumige’s working life at tanjong pagar. hence, we took a photo as a memorial to our going-to-be-missed lunch days. from tomorrow onwards, i’ll be having lonely lunch like before. hopefully i can get used to this awkward feeling all over again. anyways, pardon my flat hair; it’s still taking the shape of my egg face. *laughs*

queued for the well-loved muffins from chocolat n spice after lunch. bought a box (of 6) for my family and it made me really hungry in the office because of the fragrance coming out of them. again, pardon the badly taken shot of them because we were so eager to eat them that i didn’t have time for a nicer shot. in any case, you just need to know they taste great! (:

on another note, didn’t have much motivation to work recently. have been feeling pretty lethargic; when i try to concentrate on something, the words kinda danced to the lullaby playing in my head. at times, the long wait, for something that never arrives, really demoralises…

Lottery

headed down to SIM after work. as you can see, i didn’t even have to queue. i’m glad i chose the right day to go. anyways, it’s my only back-up plan so far. did as everyone told me: treat it as a lottery. even if it’s a hopeless, meaningless bet, at least i tried.. *laughs*

been pretty busy at work; articles after articles. didn’t even have time for MSN, let alone any time for books. now it seems like i’m going to need some motivation over here. hahah. anyways, happy birthday couz! (:

Smelling weekends

the day started off badly with me missing 6 trains straight in a row. why? it was too full to even squeeze in. but of course, there are those typical Singaporeans who think they are skinny enough to become sardines in a tin. i only managed to board an emptier train like after a 25-minutes wait. gosh, i guess taking the opposite direction and back would earn me a better place.

anyways, getting to do the things i enjoy, work has been pretty meaningful lately.. so much so that i didn’t mind doing OT (if i was allowed to). stayed till around 5.40pm only and my supervisor was chasing me home already. *laughs* well, in any case, it’s Friday night! do you smell fun? i think i can feel it coming my way.. heh. happy weekends to all! Incest case

been sleeping late recently. and the cause was #1: catching life made simple on tudou.com & #2: sending the super big photo file to my girls. so as expected, sleepy germs made me doze off during work. but come to think of it, i wasn’t exactly working also.. heh.

been finding things to do.. other than drawing, i searched for online news to read from yahoo, mypaper, today and thenewpaper. then, i came across this news which is also published in the new paper today.

it’s like totally incest right? i don’t understand how they can do it. so is their baby going to be his child or his grandchild; her child or her sibling? it’s so complicated to even draw the links. but well.. since there is no right or wrong in love, who are we to judge them?

anyways, something interesting.. i bought my train concession today and it only cost me $7.50! *laughs* i didn’t cheat the machine ok.. it’s because the student card is EXPIRING next monday. how sad. i’ll be a step closer to leading an adult’s life without student privileges. ):
