三八妇女节快乐！

attended the first ever afternoon Saturday class in my life yesterday and i’m pretty surprised that the class ain’t as empty as i was expecting. maybe, just like us, everyone thought we could only get our projects at our designated class time. in any case, we got it back and it was a DI! well, in fact, there are many groups who got it so we’re nowhere real great or special but still, a great start. hopefully we can maintain or do even better. (: class ended like really early so i headed home for an early dinner before yong beng came over to drive us out.

a photoshopped group photo because i don’t have any really successful ones caught on my phone. well, doesn’t look that fake actually right? anyways, was out shopping though we didn’t get anything because it was already pretty late by the time we are there. on a side note, it’s going to be a big-hole-in-the-pocket year because i did a quick count ytd and realised that i have at least 1-2 close friends turning 21 EVERY MONTH this year……. holy mama.

these darlings are part of the make-me-more-broke-when-September-arrives group. btw, i don’t want to whine BUT i still don’t like my hair. maybe am so sure now that flat bangs don’t suit me. idk why i always want to try it although i’ve had it before but argh, i shall never do it again.

convinced beng to drive us up to dempsey after that since it was still “considered” early and he didn’t want home. have been wanting to go there since trillion years ago and finally, i can proudly say that i’ve been there! alrights, not something to be really proud of actually but i just wanted to go there. heh.

i liked the place quite a bit because the setting is good. but yea, it was a Saturday night which i guess is why the place was pretty full. oh, or is it always the case every night? (:

well, call it dessert instead. it was yummy but to be honest, i think gelare’s waffle was better! or maybe, just maybe, i remembered it tasted much better when i had it the previous time, elsewhere, just a few months ago. speaking of that, i kinda think i could just get emo right now talking about it. it’s so random but my brain just seems to have this auto-linking function which never fails to evoke the alreadyshouldbekeptmemories. tsk.

anyways! drove mummy and neighbours to TH this morning after driving to jurong for breakfast. the former almost felt like an obligation because i was planning to get more sleep instead of being there early in the morning. but well, over is over. i shall need to get started with the projects before night falls because it’s going to be a busy week. oh, and it seems like many people had tests today (yes, on a SUNDAY) and i’m glad i don’t have any! heh, maybe i’ll have that next semester although i very much DON’T hope so.

rights, before i end off, have i mentioned that daddy actually forced me to put on the P plate? didn’t make much of a difference to me actually but it seems like that gave him more assurance to let me drive. *laughs* still, i so need a GPS navigator. ):
