the trip to Botanic Gardens started off with ice cream at island cremery. actually i think our summarised stories of our daytrip are all typed in a short chinese compo (作文) format on FB notes. pictures, too, are all up there. that will be this link, this link, and this link if you’re able to gain access. heh.

i always (and still think) that my groupies are all from well-to-do families. look at all the branded wallets they are carrying! *laughs* okay, just a random thought that babe instilled into me during our break when these wallets were lying on the benches. heh. spent the evening after class yesterday for a dinner with them.

interestingly, at the start of almost every semester, i find more visits to my blog due to searches regarding orientation and SIM-RMIT courses. hahaha. i’m not sure if they find information of what they are looking for but i guess i DO have entries, although not very detailed, on the two orientations i was involved in, once as a freshie, another as an OGL.
after 6 weeks,
met up with g and beng at MS for a shopping spree. GSS has started so long but it’s only today that i really started going to shops to shop and try on clothes. at our first destination (Zara) alone, i already spent like the whole of my one day’s pay at Roma’s. *laugh* g and beng bought a pair of shoes each. heh. i think we walked for a good 6 hours including lunch before we call it a day..
the bet is over,
working on Saturdays are, as usual, fun and so much better than Fridays. too bad, i don’t have much opportunities like that. hahah. lunch was prepared by claudia and chen ling, superb yummy. i think i really REALLY should learn how to cook soon. if not, i’ve no idea how i can survive in future. oh wells. anyways, i had a good weekend spent with my fellow Ev*lutioners. (:

some coffee on an attempt to keep myself awake. work was really exhausting yesterday. sometimes i wished we had double pay on Fridays because there are so little staff and so many customers! i almost went crazy walking in and out with all the orders stacking, lack of cups with ice, running out of wrapped utensils. rights, just hope today will be better, not so BUSY please! (:

poor nail broke in the middle of nowhere. guess i’ve been too greedy and too lazy. wanting the broken ones to grow longer or back to almost-similar length before i go for manicure so that i don’t have to trim it myself. too weak to survive any longer, it gave way today while i was packing some stuff at work. now all 10 of them are as good as botak. hurhur. i’m regretting not having them shorter. ):

headed to school in the morning to do some self-study for the lectures i slept through and skipped. but somehow, only managed to read half of what i was planning to so i suppose i’ll go down again another day. if only i could bring the textbook home. OH WELL. and as much as i thought the case study the lecturer was going to discuss in the upcoming lecture was pretty important, decided to give it a miss too because i wanted to see brother off on his flight to Perth. guess i won’t be able to concentrate in class anyways.. hah.
