what the bitch.

life’s been pretty mundane lately. getting really tired of everything around.. sometimes i don’t even know what i’m doing anymore. it’s recruitment week and it seems like i’ve got things, which i hate doing, to do. and lectures have been real bad lately. firstly, caught no balls at all for service quality. then, all the ethical talks in business ethics are screwing my brain up as well. hopefully marcom will be good tmr. sigh, and i’ve been mobbing my free time away almost everyday. God, i really need some life!

on a side note, i’m craving for some home-baked cookies and goodies. been waiting but mummy decided to postpone pineapple tarts baking to tmr. oh well, till then…

(: seems like eons since i last mentioned his name on my blog. both him and zhao ting are like so missed.. anyways, attended networking session yesterday. first and foremost, thank you misha for the council tee! headed to CWP in the morning to repair my phone and borrowed the tee from her. as what i’ll always indicate – FINALLY a meet-up with my girls again. our “monthly” meet-ups are failing badly and we seemed to only have time for one another like probably once every 2 to 3 months? didn’t even get to see them before we step into the new year. ): then, dearest mentioned that as we grow older, birthday celebrations become less exciting as well. but i’m glad at least previous years’ celebrations spent with them were always so unforgettable, enough to offset the missed out for 2008. *grins*

as granny’s grows older, the number of candles on her cake just seemed to get more and more, till the extent that when i asked, nobody knows how old she ACTUALLY is. *laughs* but yup, since she’s in the zodiac of rabbit, i did some calculations and realised she’s only 82 this year; 83 according to chinese calendar. i tried counting the number of candles on the cake in the pictures and it’s like 85! gosh, how ridiculous can that be? anyways, we celebrated her birthday pretty early this year, on the Saturday which just passed.

new year’s eve was well spent. great dinner; great programs lined-up; great company; great location. in short, i had a great time. special thanks to love for the plans and all, especially agreeing to put my friends into his guest list. i know it was pretty tough for some time but everything still went well. (:

oh well, just did a reflection of the year and i realised all 3 resolutions i made for 2008 were not done. which makes me think, resolutions for tse hwee are just like school rules; it’s there for the sake of being there but no one follows it. so yup, i shall not make any resolutions for 2009 because i know, if i set my heart on doing something, i probably don’t have to spell it out so clearly before i will follow them. spelling it out sometimes just defeats the purpose. (:

8 days at Taiwan

rights, finally a short summary of the trip that i’ve been mentioning for at least the past 8 entries. haha. trying to write up an entry based on some notes i made in point form throughout the trip.

had a great experience and insight there. specifically, the toilets. the flushes over there are not strong enough so somehow, we had to constantly rmb to dispose our used toilet papers in the bin beside instead of into the toilet bowls. so yup, you can alr imagine the “fragrance” in the toilets. haha. and i had loads of regrets, one not being able to find my vivitar which has been hiding for the past 2 months as there were really great scenery i could have shot with it. ):

Bedtime stories

true fairytale.

caught the movie with gab last night. was awaiting this movie since before my taiwan trip. it was great cos i always liked this kinda fantasy movies. haha, but i was quite distracted by my phone throughout the entire show so i didn’t manage to catch each and every word of the dialogues. other than that, it was great! pretty hilarious at some parts and i think the two kids were REALLY ADORABLE! (:
