been whining about busy August and how much i wished the month was over. however, as i flip though my organiser, i realised that September is going to be far more dreadful. excluding activities like the bash, gatherings or any upcoming birthday parties; project deadlines, all clustered together, are enough to kill. on top of all these, i’m looking at a depleting bank account which kinda brought back the already-forgone idea of finding a job into my head. i was supposed to be busy, be it for projects or any other academic stuffs. but, i never seem to spend any time on them. IF i could just utilise all this time i spent idling on working *$$$*, i can probably fulfill more of my unlimited wants and have lesser concerns each time i slash the card. and then again, doubting my ability to manage time and commitment, how do i go about forgoing the desires i can’t afford? what choices are to be made? and, what are the opportunity costs? HMMM…
school and council room have been like our 2nd home lately. been going down to help out with the bash publicity stuffs. wasn’t very willing to do it initially but after long, we actually found joy in completing them. hahaha. and that’s also when we bond with the fellow MnPians. (: so yup, stayed to help after the meeting yesterday evening..
i guess too much idle time causes emoness. but thanks for the concern, people! don’t worry about me, the lack of updates were not due to emoness. i’ve just been busy these two days and lost touch with my laptop. (:
movie with wushuyi on wednesday afternoon while waiting for xumige to finish her work. had a great laugh although this movie ain’t THAT awesome. but it’s pretty funny, quite worth catching actually. *laughs* walked around town trying to shop for something but apparently, went back empty-handed. sliced the ATM card to feed the wallet some vitamin M but all’s gone on the same night. want to know why? hahaha..

the feeling of throwing the OB essay into the BBMKG box is great! well, although i didn’t throw it personally.. hahaha.. thanks babe for printing it for me. anyways, i was actually over this essay since more than a week ago. but i can’t help feeling happy to know that i’ve submitted my first ever essay, no matter what the results are going to be. (:
continued rendering our help for the bash publicity. stole a shot of the people in the council room while taking a little break from all the cutting and pasting. much fewer people turned up compared to friday evening, but somehow or rather, it was more productive. probably cos everyone’s already quite familar with the job and stuff. hopefully we can finish up everything on our next meet-up on thursday!
babe concentrating on her cutting. heh. oh well, i actually wanted to leave earlier to get some dinner but before i could, it started pouring. and then there’s a funny scene of everyone attacking all the people who drove. teddy’s the best lah. fancy saying “choa chu kang and hougangvery near because they all have the -kang and -gang..” *laughs* the rain stopped by the time we were leaving but still, leeched a ride from zhicao. it was supposed to be on the way for him lah, but i’m not very sure already. but thanks anyway!
date with my darling girlfriends tomorrow. it ain’t very long since we last met but i feel so faraway and outdated of their stuffs already. the chat on phone with them last night was great, getting to hear their voices again. hahaha, now i sound like some psychopath. well, 2 weeks of school for them already, i just wonder why i’ve NEVER bumped into them in school. ):

my lovely carroty heart. hahaha. anyways, was in the kitchen almost the entire day after the usual duper-early breakfast session with my family. happily being mummy’s little helper again. prepared some food for the guests coming in the evening. despite MOST of the guests being her friends, sis only helped a little here & there and went for all her beauty self-therapies.
after 48 years, the nation’s finally seeing an Olympic medal again!
kudos to the lady paddlers!! anyways, although they represent Singapore, and are doing the country proud, they are still of other origins. HMM. i wonder if there will be a day where a true-blue Singaporean can do us proud like that. but as a matter of fact, it’s really very hard. local kids nowadays can’t take hardships at all. that’s probably why we can never train a sportsperson as well as those in other countries. you think the Sports School is useful? hah, don’t bother. so yea, in conclusion, we still have to depend on foreign talents.. ironic eh?
rights, i didn’t watch the match actually. was in the council room the whole evening with fellow MnPians working on the 3D alphabets. and i can tell you, it’s really really tough. we worked 2 hours on an alphabet, (achieving nothing) before we gave up and went on to the other. pretty irresponsible i know, but at least, the choice got us some productive results! heh. worked until the security guard chased us out and went for supper a late dinner with bernie, zhaoting, teddy & althea. i swear they really make people go “ha ha ha”. movienation last night! reached like duper early thus i think we rotted like an hour or two before the movie even started. the movie was great but OUR seats were DAMN BAD. *grumbles* but anyways, i think the movie will be much more perfect if only it was in 3D! too bad somehow the screens in Singapore don’t support. ):
