2011

happy new year?

is it a little late to say HAPPY NEW YEAR? *laughs* anyway, happy 2011! i hope everyone had a blast for countdown, celebration and whatsnot. well, i had my fair bit of fun. couldn’t get into clubs, rejected a house party and all.. but well, all in the name of my resolutions, guess it’s good. made 3 resolutions, penned it down in the presence of gege & tayobe, added another one or two in my head too. let’s hope all will be good!

back to work for a bit. still need a little getting used to worklife after really nua-ing the whole holiday period away. just can’t seem to get my momentum again. a part of me still wants to rest. HMM. i need a getaway. a short trip overseas maybe?

Change

as the year slowly comes to an end, we tend to be more emotional and attempt to reflect on our doings for the year. anyways, change change CHANGE! so many changes around me, so many changes that i wanna do as well. in a way, feel like i’m somebody who’s always waiting for a change THAN really working on making one. probably time for some “real” change. for a start, made a little amendments to the fleur de lys theme. a little colour change and my dear little e<3 logo. something for the new year at least? (:

Resolutions

away from you.

11 more days to the new year, to a new 2011. well, other than the difference in the numbers when you write the year, it’s actually just another normal day. somehow, though, for the past couple of years, been trying to write those what we call “resolutions” and what was done in the year, what to expect in the following year and all. it’s becoming like a norm? or perhaps, just another way to psycho myself or find a reason to do things i’ve been procrastinating?

happy 22nd wuwu!

exactly 2 weeks after xumige’s birthday comes wushuyi’s. and for a cake-nonlover like her, we settled for ice cream instead. dinner was at Marche where i had my favourite dosage of rosti and crepes. celebration wasn’t anything fanciful but nothing beats having it simple, with the loveliest clique. hopefully we made wuwu a happy girl.

spent the Saturday evening at 星’s where we played monopoly deal, chitchatgossiptillyoudrop, ate mooncakes, tidbits and whatsnot. think the other half of the time was spent photoboothing on her macbook and ONCE AGAIN, i am tempted to buy. oh well. and then i wanna do braces too, i want the new itouch or iphone 4. what else? just can’t seem to be satisfied with what i own.. hurhur~

this date marks a happy day for my two beloved colleagues cos they both flew overseas with their boyfriends. HOW ENVIOUS! so yea, being left alone behind, i’m glad i’ve a life-savior for lunch and all. *smiles* pretty random but my Friday was actually packed traveling around; ABC for lunch, funan for retail, home for dinner, and back to city hall for F1!

another endless pit.

as i’d always label September as a suckmywalletdry month, had a couple of birthday celebrations in a week. more to come of cos and the best thing is, all of them are of my closest friends and family. just a couple of photos to share. i guess facebook and twitter already did most of the “publicity” for me. still, though, i don’t wanna give up on my blog. good old days.

it was ting’s birthday and DAZ finally met up again. somehow, it seems like we need special occasions to have a meet-up but no, it shouldn’t and will not be that case.. i know i’m probably the one with the least right to say this cos i’m always the one who cannot make it but… i really hope our “promise” of sustaining our MONTHLY meetups still stands. anyways, happy 22nd darling!

seems like we never get tired of graduating. *laughs* anyways, spent the entire Saturday out with a group of council peeps to have our graduation photoshoot. must say we were damn shagged at the end of the day but had great fun nevertheless. thanks nicky for organizing and his friend for taking awesome pictures for us! am still waiting to see all those shots! ((:
