Sneaks

i don’t hate you; i merely forgot how to love you..

mobtv is love. all the re-watchings and the catch-ups and the sneaks. i’ve caught all available episodes of the above! heh heh heh. if only i can afford such life after school starts… well, i wasn’t called the TV freak addict for nothing! LOL

The Zohan

last night was You Don’t Mess With The Zohan with my family. you can say i “treated” them to the movie but none of us paid any monies. heh. if you still remember, i’ve got this 4 free tickets from my colleague weeks ago. but well, had to travel to JP since it’s the nearest GV cinema around. reached home like past midnight and i’m glad i wasn’t the one driving..

A mobile love story

it’s the 3rd consecutive stay-home weekend! i’d say i’m kinda liking it though.. spent the whole of yesterday on mobtv as it is streaming the first 10 episodes of A Mobile Love Story free and i think it’s like one of the coolest interface i’ve seen on the site. well, being a drama addict like me, i found the next 11 episodes on a CCTV website! so yups, i completed the show today.

anyways, if you’re wondering what show it is, you can take a look here. it’s a Singapore-China collaboration starring Christopher Lee, Yvonne Lim and Wallace Huo. well, the main actress is Han Xue but i doubt you’ll know who she is lah.. heh. hmm, i wouldn’t say it’s a VERY nice show but quite worth catching if you really have nothing to do – like me. *laughs*

and yes, it’s 5-5 today! have you eaten your dumpling? happy dragon boat festival! (:

The status

right, this says it all. if you still don’t know, the above is for NUS application. *smiles* the letter should arrive pretty soon i guess. sometimes i can’t help wondering if it’ll make a difference if i’d put FASS as my first choice instead. in any case, i’ll most probably try again next year. it still depends on the last letter that has yet to arrive..

initially wanted to get away from home for some retail therapy. however, didn’t manage to find any shopping mate. so yea, rotted at home the whole day until now. i wouldn’t say it is a very meaningful stay-home-day but at least, i did a few things.

what i did..

‘Maid’ of Honor?

movie date with my girls after work. tickets were cheap but not the dinner. oh wells, i guess they balanced each other out. *laughs* anyways, the show was pretty hilarious. i’d say it’s quite worth catching although the ending was a little cliché. hmm, can you picture having a very good friend whom you meet up with so often throughout 10 YEARS that you’re so used to his/her existence? maybe it’s time to get married too! heh. i wished i had someone so special in my life like that too..

anyways, didn’t catch champions league finals cos i was too lazy to wake up. hence, i read the news first thing in the morning and it was kinda disappointing. though i’m personally not a supporter of either teams, i kinda think Chelsea deserved the title more – according to the reports and how the game was played. well well, in any case, the conclusion is: Man U won, period. (:

Vegas

do you feel the same?

movie with choon hua after work. it was great despite the ending being pretty expected. anyways, am seriously damn shagged. packed stacks and stacks of invoices at work and punching holes to file them all up.. even got my hand cut several times by the papers. *cries* well, 2 more days to a long vesak day weekend.. ENDURE!!! (:

Fitting

at times, you may find yourself not fitting perfectly well somewhere; just tell yourself that at least you are almost there.. afterall, it beats having nowhere to be in at all. (:

can’t believe i was glued to the TV for 3 hours. well, can’t be blamed because there’s no more mobTV accounts to leech on. any kind souls out there? *grins* anyways, i thought The Showdown was pretty good. although not very original, it’s still the first in Singapore (i think?). and it’s great because you can catch it for free @ http://theshowdown.mediacorptv.sg/! now, who says you need mobTV?!

*raises hand* erm, okay, actually i still do..

Labour day eve

pamper yourself on this well-deserved break. the eve after work was KTV at aviary with the clique, followed by movie at west mall with the gang. conclusion from the KTV session, #1: Singaporeans cannot be praised, #2: tse hwee is a walking mp3. HAHAH, i didn’t claim that ok. but well, not one that produces beautiful melodies though, just one that seems to know-all. *laughs*

anyways, rushing from one place to another was what made my night a little hectic. am glad that i brought my boy along but having 9 missed calls while i was behind the wheels wasn’t very appreciated. hahaha.

went into the theatre not knowing what to expect. but eventually, got into the story and i enjoyed the movie. every part of the high-technology makes you go, “hey, that’s cool! i wished i had that too..” some parts of it kinda made me feel like i was watching transformers.. and there were really LOL parts too. do catch it if you haven’t! (:

The list

it’s been damn long since i last read a book. got myself Nicholas Sparks’s first novel, The Notebook, from the library on saturday and it kept me company in the office today.

1996 novel; 2004 movie..
