today’s motivation for work: two days leave on wednesday & thursday! *grins* the former is for Graduation as many of you should already know.. the latter shall be for any after-events for the former as well as giving myself some rest OR entertainment we all deserved. (:

sketched the two cute ladies in the ace attorney series. if you played the game, i’m sure you’ll know them! heh. Trucy’s face is duper out of shape but i didn’t have eraser so didn’t bother to redraw..

retail therapy with wushuyi after work. bought a couple of stuffs – all on SALE – and spent like only $60? *laughs* considered a VERY fruitful shopping trip because yesterday’s town trip with sister was totally useless. but in any case, i heart GSS! oh, almost everything at m)phosis is freaking cheap; go take a look if you don’t believe me! hmm, plus the couple of tens i spent two days ago, it’s already one-ninth of my pay gone! gosh. honestly, “earn more, spend more” is very very very TRUE. *pouts*

took a couple of snaps of the toddler sitting in front of me last night, he’s damn adorable & not at all scared of strangers! he can be carried by anyone without even crying. but somehow, only his granny can make him smile. the chubby face and the mini dimple; he melts me like my eyecandy! *grins*

hmm, wanted to go for the blood donation drive at TG today but was unfortunately down with a bad flu and fever. blocked nose, ears and even brain. i don’t even recall myself being able to sleep last night. well, glad i’m all better right now though. anyways, darling xumige made my day! hahahah. and with her duper cute name, i think my parents love her too. *laughs*

The status

right, this says it all. if you still don’t know, the above is for NUS application. *smiles* the letter should arrive pretty soon i guess. sometimes i can’t help wondering if it’ll make a difference if i’d put FASS as my first choice instead. in any case, i’ll most probably try again next year. it still depends on the last letter that has yet to arrive..

initially wanted to get away from home for some retail therapy. however, didn’t manage to find any shopping mate. so yea, rotted at home the whole day until now. i wouldn’t say it is a very meaningful stay-home-day but at least, i did a few things.

Testing, 1, 2, 3

a little update about work.. changed department a few days ago but i don’t exactly know what post i’m holding now. in any case, time passed pretty fast ever since. been doing testing, testing, and more testing. the above picture shows a couple of test account emails i created on my domain. actually i think the email addresses are really beautiful! anyone wants one too? *laughs*

anyways, lunched with my colleagues today. yes, after more than 2 months, this is the first time i’m lunching with them. amazing huh? but still, i kinda prefer eating alone.. can’t really help it i guess. afterall, i’m really quite a loner at times..

oh, and today – 23rd May 2008 – marks the start of great singapore sale!! not like i’m a big fan of it but…. is it time to do some shopping yet?! there’re so many things i need! *looks around and start taking down notes* probably i should go work for a year and earn some buckaroos before studying again. hmmmmmm….

‘Maid’ of Honor?

movie date with my girls after work. tickets were cheap but not the dinner. oh wells, i guess they balanced each other out. *laughs* anyways, the show was pretty hilarious. i’d say it’s quite worth catching although the ending was a little cliché. hmm, can you picture having a very good friend whom you meet up with so often throughout 10 YEARS that you’re so used to his/her existence? maybe it’s time to get married too! heh. i wished i had someone so special in my life like that too..

anyways, didn’t catch champions league finals cos i was too lazy to wake up. hence, i read the news first thing in the morning and it was kinda disappointing. though i’m personally not a supporter of either teams, i kinda think Chelsea deserved the title more – according to the reports and how the game was played. well well, in any case, the conclusion is: Man U won, period. (:

Alcoholic

here’s a short article i came across in reader’s digest some time earlier..

honestly, it didn’t help me understand whether it is supposed to be good, or bad. but it’d be quite interesting if you can get that into your head and show off these big terms to someone if they ever ask you questions regarding this topic. *laughs*

well, no doubt i like feeling tipsy, i wouldn’t deny that i hate the after-effect of the alcohol lingering in my body. somehow, it’s not nice having hangover the next day, and i especially hate feeling nauseous for the whole day, having something still churning & burning inside my stummy, drinking gallons of water but still can’t help feeling dry, then still tasting chivas in the mouth and losing appetite for all meals. but HMMM, these just don’t seem to stop my urge to drink.. i’m losing my stand on the new year resolution i set half a year ago.

*sigh* in any case, i had fun last night despite being such a zombie at work today. but regrettably, i didn’t take any photos. hopefully i can rip the only one taken from someone who did..

HPV + bridge

right, the pictures of the stated title are kinda overdue so, i shall not upload all of them. chosen a few but still, it needs some scrolling. before i start, do meet my toys! (:

i brought both out but only used the 4-lens one. disappointingly, after spending a couple of buckaroos on the film and developing, there was only 24 out of 36 that was visible. and among that pathetic amount, only a few was successful. my aiming was super off and most of them turned out to be shots of the floor. ):

Grad attire

it’s about a week more till the Graduation ceremony. been looking forward to it since donkey years ago but somehow as it draws nearer, i’m feeling the opposite.

anyways, collected the attire last week with my girls and my boy. intended to go to OurSpace@72 to chill since i’ve never been there before. unfortunately, that particular place never seems to be on good terms with me; it was closed for some noobie event for the secondary school kids. *curses*

oh, did i mention? i don’t know about the other two polytechnics but our graduation attire is so much cheaper than TP and SP’s. i’m not too sure why because i don’t think the school compromised the attire’s material. although i haven’t seen the others’, by looking at our attire alone, i’m already pretty sure that the quality of our attires won’t be inferior to theirs in any way. hmm, thinking about it.. could this be where part of our very-expensive miscellaneous fees went to? *wonders*
