Rarely so

the router decided to go on strike; unlike last time, it is like so damn hard to find a wireless for me to tap, which is why i am stucked at Macs right now. i guess neighbours nowadays have become pretty selfish. LOL, but well, can’t blame them because i myself, is one of them. *sigh* should have just stayed in school for the wireless if i knew this was going to happen….

anyways, a little advertisement here although i don’t think it’s going to be any useful. but yup.. SIM MovieNation, organised by the RMIT student council, is coming up! grab your tickets for the Journey to the Center of the Earth movie at only $5! visit the booth outside SIM canteen from 12.30pm – 2pm from 04 August onwards to register your seats. FYI, the movie will be screened at Lido next Wednesday, 13 August 2008, at 6.45pm. what an attractive deal right? heh, haven’t got mine though, hopefully can get it soon! ((:

KTV date

after class was KTV date with carmen and charles. i don’t know why but it seems like they’re always giving in to me. haha, but anyways, damn nice of charles to actually call his mum to ask for some vege place to have lunch. something i didnt expect but yea, settled on LingZhi at Liat Towers which, i would say, is a duper ex restaurant.

Kbox & we

stocking up the masks in my cupboard from online sprees. i guess this should be enough to last me for at least a month or two. haha. had a couple more loots from Cotton On sale with ah wu at Lot 1 after class today! but i wonder if i should be happy or sad because i’m spending without an income now..

oh yes, talking about school.. DC lecture today was hell. the RMIT lecturer seems to be singing a lullaby with his cartoon-news-reporter-ly voice. and with the speed of his speech and his mumbling-to-himself jokes, i couldn’t help dozing off like every 5 minutes or so. was whining to daddy how much i hate school just now and i gained a knock on my head. *pouts*

anyways, about half of the OG (including me, of course) went for a ktv session after BB class yesterday. there were around 13 of us so the pathetic 4 hours wasn’t really enough to enjoy. the service was bad wasn’t very good and it was kinda pricey. but well, it’s an occasional spending so.. not too bad. (:

Week 1

3 days of school, 9 hours of OB lectures; week 1 finally ended. most of the time was spent day-dreaming, if not dozing off. but well, so far so good. i’d say i’m enjoying school if those project guidelines that’s been staring at me for the past few hours can disappear into thin air. *yawns* ANYWAYS, been neglecting my blog so here’s a little update on my life. (:

being out of office for two days, i suddenly missed the feeling back in there. yesterday was great because i was totally occupied for the WHOLE day. hopefully my last day will be as busy so that i can bring that sense of satisfaction home with me.. packed up my table and brought half of my belongings home & i guess i’m ready to leave the place for school.

Private sales

had a date with the clique, minus ah chu again, early Saturday morning. credits to zz, we had the VIP tickets to enter Fossil Private Sales at 10am. the public could only enter after 12pm. unexpectedly, we had to queue for quite awhile even though we reached damn early (like 9.45am?). in any case, everyone of us bought something. a watch each for us girls and a lot more each for the guys. now you know.. they are richer.

thinking about it, i’d say this is the first watch i’ve ever bought. in fact, it’s the first i’ve even owned. well, that’s if you disregard the Baby-Gs and kiddish market-bought watches i had when i was in primary school. anyways, (although i think everyone who knows me already knows this) i’ve a confession to make: i can’t read analog watches! but (i said BUT), i’m learning right now; and i’m doing a good job! *smiles proudly*

my dream phone is out! launched a few days ago. *grins* but well, since horses & doggies years ago, i have been talking about DREAM phones but have never ever owned any one of them. i guess this won’t be an exception too but i just wanted to share this beautiful creation by Sony Ericsson with everyone since i don’t have much to blog about.. click here to view the details.

on a random note, i’m loving colour on my nails! RD303 from The Face Shop. sadly, i can never maintain them well thus i’ve got to repaint them again in like 2-3 days’ time? *pouts* anyways, it’s midweek tmr! don’t you just love Wednesdays? if only we don’t have to work on Thursdays……. yes, DP, you know what i mean, don’t you? hahaha alrights, shall prepare to go meet my girlfriends soon. Mother’s day

didn’t celebrate mother’s day like how we used to in previous years.. everyone’s kinda busy and tired so we just had a simple dinner nearby. but well, people always say, “it’s the company, not the place, that matters”. so yes, very true. dinner with the family is always great. shall exclude all the details because they are all inside jokes. in any case, i love you, mummy! *grins*

here, if you can’t read the words on the box, maybe you can take a look at the thing inside the packagings. what do they resemble? *laughs* alright, if you still can’t figure out, let me tell you. it’s CONDOM! hahahaha. oh, not exactly that condom lah. they’re just chocolates. heh. it’s a gift brother bought from his taiwan trip. they’re quite yummy actually.. thanks eh! The ride

daddy made me really sad for an hour. he called to tell me i’ve a letter from NUS and i asked him to open it on my behalf. and yup, as expected, BAD news. oh right, but i felt so much happier when i reached home to see that it’s NTU instead. honestly, i don’t bear any hopes on the latter so it’s still alright. now, two more letters to decide my fate. i don’t know which i’m pinning hopes on but i’m really not expecting much already. (:

i’m going to reformat my laptop real soon. so i’ve been mass-backing up the files. i wanted to have a clean start, getting rid of everything but i guess i really ain’t that brave. still, there’re lots that i want to keep! heh.

anyways, had a very disastrous adventure this evening. took my boy out for a ride to get the hard disk from gz then drove him to bt panjang. it seems like everything’s gone wrong and for once, i felt so duper unsafe in my own car. gosh.
