Bad sales

happy birthday benjamin!

well, i wished i had time to update about the amazing science centre trip with DAZ but i’d be busy for the following 3 days. yup, as many already know, i’m working at the PC show as like other hundreds or thousands of people. it’s my first time working at such fair and after one day, i can conclude that i’m not a good sales person. or rather, i’m just really bad at it you can say i suck! *laughs* i almost died standing for hours and having zero sales. hahah. well, 3 more days to endure and hopefully i can have more luck.

in any case, i know this ain’t going to be of much help but anyone who wants to get a Lenovo Thinkpad or msi, please do look for me @ level 4 – booth A1931. we are not at Lenovo but somewhere near. diagonally across the big main Lenovo booth, beside Acer, just in front of Courts. (:

Factory working

within.

ever seen exam hall this empty before? for a moment, i like the silence in this hall like that. was watching them do the orientation video filming after my PC show briefing on Monday night. suppered with brother and mike thereafter. the entire Tuesday was spent in school for packing the orientation publicity packages and  MnP meeting. we were totally like factory workers again but i must say it was quite fun – the chit-chatting and bickering with everyone around part. *laughs* alright, time to go meet my most beloved DAZ! (:

Joyous affair

and i’m wondering..

attended cuthbert’s sis, xiuyi’s wedding lunch this afternoon. well, can’t say i’m anywhere close to her but the family is whom we always termed as our “neighbour” so yup, we can be considered close at least in proximity? *laughs* anyways, it was held at Grand Copthorne and upon nearing, i finally understood why the name of the hotel just ring so many bells in my head. *turns to sis and say, it’s the hotel beside zouk la!*

stay constant.

these two couple of days have been really scorching hot. even sitting under the fan makes me perspire non-stop as if i’m like an open tap. okay, maybe not THAT exaggerating. maybe say.. a bottle of cold drink left in the open air? that sounds more like it eh? hahah. anyways, after a long day of rotting at home, headed down to ame’s place at night to chill. actually i’ve no idea why we call it chill but yea, just slacked and mahjong-ed for awhile before brother sent us home..

Of Log & DAZ

dreams vs reality.

it’s the GSS season, don’t all these just look like shopping bags? *laughs* of course not, they are too tiny to be and i shall proudly name them the hard work of the logistics team today. hahah. i think we spent about 4 hours discussing, finalizing, and getting down to do them so hopefully, these get approved so that our hard work will pay off. (:

Results day II

expected but still disappointing.

save me the pitiful look, i guess everyone had a hard time this semester. well, i know i should be satisfied that i managed to clear all the modules but still, i’m so not happy with the results. because this means i need 2 HDs and 2 DIs next semester to get a Degree with Distinction which is so bloody impossible. oh well. i thought SQ paper was really easy, can’t understand why i only got a CR when the two projects making up 50% is already a HD! and all other projects are at least a DI, it’s just annoying. rar! anyhow, this is final already. better luck next semester i guess… (:

BenGBoy’s 21st

i’m not addicted.

spent the evening and night over at the birthday chalet of our second 21st baby of the gang this year. as usual, gotta wait for the birthday boy to upload the photos. on a side note, i think the Ev*lution is slowly living up to its name. and i suddenly think my life is getting really unhealthy these days. too much alcohol intake. and i had to skip work today because i just had to. can i say i wasn’t feeling too well? hur. and i slept my entire afternoon away. but the body is still feeling pretty screwed right now.

Blackout

mixed feelings.

headed down to parklane with the guys last night to play L4D. were like trapped on a dangerous car in the traffic jam at town for quite some time. the ride was like hell but no other choices since it’s the only transport we can get. LOL. that is yong beng for you. heh. anyways, all the LAN shops were so packed we waited for about an hour before we got to play. since there was only 4 of us, didn’t manage to play versus so we tried the hospital map..

Doubly dblO

the life i lead.

haven’t clubbed since… almost half a year ago at UOL bash? i walked into the club, the entire scene seems so alien.. the deafening music, the dazzling lights, and the screams of all the inebriates. *laughs* but okay lah, i’d say the familiar feeling came along pretty soon. after a couple of drinks. it was definitely not the most i’ve drank, nor was it the highest i got but definitely quite fun considering that i had two of my closest groups of friends with me. (:
