so near yet so far.
clique 全家福 taken on the eve of the eve of CNY after dinner. so as mentioned, met with the clique to have our reunion dinner and walkabout at chinatown. the next day was reunion dinner with family, as usual, before the big day 1 and day 2 of public holiday commenced. (:

drove to tampines yesterday morning to pay our respects to my recently departed grandmother as well as both my grandfathers who have all been “moved” to the same place. there was this really nice bouquet of flowers my uncle’s friend did for him and loads of food prepared by mummy and my aunts, which became our lunch after the prayers. (:
tired.
the above pretty delicacies are deliciously baked by my dear babe. YES! like after so so so so so long of going to bake for us, she finally brought me some goodies these two days.. thanks babe! but of cos, not only for me, but for whoever was present at my 2nd home, the student lounge, and the council room.
random thoughts of the day:
- i hate to admit this but i really think i jinx bus waiting! it’s been quite the case for a couple of years alr and further proven these few days. oh maybe fion’s right, i’m more of a train person..
- splitting our group of 6 into two for ethics project is finally done! it’s really cute but very very fair, hope everyone’s happy with it..
- skipping down the stairs as fast as i can actually reduces the muscle ache on my thighs than slowly taking the steps one by one.
- online shopping is really addictive but for the first time, i’m feeling lazy to fill in order forms and log into ibanking to transfer the money. i suddenly feel like going to shop physically..
- my schedule looks busy for the coming weeks and i can’t decide which event to attend for the overlapping ones..
- on the irony, i seem to be so free that i appear at the council room almost everyday whether i’m needed or not. *laughs*
strained.
Sunday morning was spent at youth group, as usual. had outdoor activities this week but i guess this is the last time we’re having fun without tuition class for the time being. in any case, i had fun being around and making more new friends (the kids). headed for work after that; the laomaobing splitting headache came visiting again and didn’t go away until this morning.. ):

clocked a total of 11 hours at work today! it’s like so energy-draining to work consecutive days like that, especially when one of the days is a SATURDAY when all the crowds gather. but today ain’t that bad because we got “compensated” with an awesome dessert that boss prepared for all of us! it’s so rich in ingredients that i don’t even know how to start listing them. i can only say the white shiny thingy you see, is an egg. and that, settled our lunch for the day. (:
one more long day before i take a day’s break. oh well, i didn’t want a break at all actually but, boss said monday’s schedule is packed alr. so, guess i can’t have my 4th consecutive day of work anyways. maybe i should start researching for my projects.. argh, shouldn’t have reminded myself of such unhappy stuff……

tsehwee was a good girl today. or rather, just TRYING HARD to be one. borrowed the ethics book to the student lounge to try reading up on stuffs i didn’t understand in the lecture but hmm, i STILL don’t understand a thing. i’m so going to flunk this module like seriously lah.. oh btw, lecture announcement was fine, at least i didn’t screw up the very short 2-3 sentences i spoke. and thanks to whoever replied a “hi” when i said “hi everyone!”. *laughs*

headed down to the Makan Place, like finally, after morning lecture today. haha. i swear the place is awesome! Ngee Ann kids nowadays are really having good life i tell you.. but we, being just next to them, get to enjoy this facility a year too, before we bid the place goodbye. *grins*
