Eve of eve

non-existence.

drove to tampines yesterday morning to pay our respects to my recently departed grandmother as well as both my grandfathers who have all been “moved” to the same place. there was this really nice bouquet of flowers my uncle’s friend did for him and loads of food prepared by mummy and my aunts, which became our lunch after the prayers. (:

and the day so great.

Eighty2 or 3

ripe old age.

as granny’s grows older, the number of candles on her cake just seemed to get more and more, till the extent that when i asked, nobody knows how old she ACTUALLY is. *laughs* but yup, since she’s in the zodiac of rabbit, i did some calculations and realised she’s only 82 this year; 83 according to chinese calendar. i tried counting the number of candles on the cake in the pictures and it’s like 85! gosh, how ridiculous can that be? anyways, we celebrated her birthday pretty early this year, on the Saturday which just passed.

weekends before school starts.

My 2009

start of something new.

new year’s eve was well spent. great dinner; great programs lined-up; great company; great location. in short, i had a great time. special thanks to love for the plans and all, especially agreeing to put my friends into his guest list. i know it was pretty tough for some time but everything still went well. (:

last day of 2008 & 2nd day of 2009.

Ending off 2oo8

brand new.

oh well, just did a reflection of the year and i realised all 3 resolutions i made for 2008 were not done. which makes me think, resolutions for tse hwee are just like school rules; it’s there for the sake of being there but no one follows it. so yup, i shall not make any resolutions for 2009 because i know, if i set my heart on doing something, i probably don’t have to spell it out so clearly before i will follow them. spelling it out sometimes just defeats the purpose. (:

and a pre-typed entry goes like this..

Heartache

slippery hands, maybe.

rights, as many of you have alr known my most recent heartbreak: the screen crack (like spiderman) on my dear 2-weeks-old omnia. seriously, can’t get any more unlucky. on the last day of the trip, this had to happen. i swear i almost cried my entire heart out. but well, hopefully i can do some backing up and get it fixed soon.. so yup, if i haven’t been replying your messages, please pardon me! i had so many messages in my drafts that i wanted to send the moment i’m back in Singapore but now, they’re all stucked there because i can’t see the screen at all! *PULLS HAIR*

a little more update.

20th with clique

9 days later!

oh, a missed out photo from yesterday! sis went to heat up the soup for me and we went to watch little nyonya. haha, so yup, that’s the result of it like about 15 minutes later when she suddenly recalled about it. oh well, got a dressing down by mummy as we have to throw it away. hahah.

20th on the 20th with clique.

KTV birthday

祈祷.

spent the evening at aviary KTV with the gang. as usual, our birthday celebrations are always KTV sessions. *laughs* but still, thanks everyone for the effort to plan and come. well, maybe not much of planning. hahaha. or i should say, thanks for the treat and the surprise cake. ((:

photos photos.

MnP dinner & UOL bash

whirlpool.

here’s a shot of my mass production! hahah, for the clique, you’ll be getting it tmr. heh, cos i haven’t finished writing as my pen went out of ink. lols. rights, met gab at town for some last minute shopping on how to package my present and i swear i got cheated $8.50 for the wrapping! so not worth it lah. sighs. lesson learnt: wrap presents yourself next time. hahaha.

the dinner and thereafter.

With love

counting down.

was in the midst of rushing my mass production of christmas cards when i suddenly smelt this butter and bake. thought mummy was baking some cookies so i went to check it out and realised she was actually baking a cake for me! *grins* seriously, she did it so silently that i didn’t even know she was baking in the kitchen. well, the aroma betrayed her. rights, then she placed all the decorations we kept for years all onto the cake. it may be a little messy but i think it’s cute! that’s the best cake i’ve ever had this year. because it was made with love. (:
