current display picture of the stripes i just fell in love with recently. it wasn’t supposed to be a suggestive picture, thanks to FM for pointing it out to me. *laughs* anyways, been sleeping real little these days but i can’t help it because it seems like i can’t give up ANY of the items on my agenda. as much as i love to procrastinate, it just seems like i can’t do the same when it comes to blogging.

heh, thanks to Budget 2009, i’m finally getting money from the government! *GRINS* at first i thought it was because i’m turning 21 this year. but wu mentioned that there’s this column where students from 7 to 20 are eligible for it as well. same amount somemore. so yea, guess i’m still under the 20-year-old category? haha.

and initiation happened on Saturday; the big council family for this sem! rights, seems like there were a lot more people last sem. heh. anyways, can’t seem to replenish the sleep i sacrifice although i really really slept a lot. at least 10 hours yesterday and a few today. but okay, at least i squeezed out some time to edit the reports. (:
it’s just the beginning..
4th 5th day of the great ox year now; how’s CNY for everyone? i suppose most of us youngsters have been busy visiting, gambling and collecting tons of ang paos. i guess it’s the same every year, however good or bad the holiday can be, it can only go so far. after which, most of us gotta get our asses back to school or to work. for me, it was the latter, i chose to go get myself more pocket money on top of the pathetic sum of red packets i got this year. drove to tampines yesterday morning to pay our respects to my recently departed grandmother as well as both my grandfathers who have all been “moved” to the same place. there was this really nice bouquet of flowers my uncle’s friend did for him and loads of food prepared by mummy and my aunts, which became our lunch after the prayers. (:

the above pretty delicacies are deliciously baked by my dear babe. YES! like after so so so so so long of going to bake for us, she finally brought me some goodies these two days.. thanks babe! but of cos, not only for me, but for whoever was present at my 2nd home, the student lounge, and the council room.

as granny’s grows older, the number of candles on her cake just seemed to get more and more, till the extent that when i asked, nobody knows how old she ACTUALLY is. *laughs* but yup, since she’s in the zodiac of rabbit, i did some calculations and realised she’s only 82 this year; 83 according to chinese calendar. i tried counting the number of candles on the cake in the pictures and it’s like 85! gosh, how ridiculous can that be? anyways, we celebrated her birthday pretty early this year, on the Saturday which just passed.

caught the movie with gab last night. was awaiting this movie since before my taiwan trip. it was great cos i always liked this kinda fantasy movies. haha, but i was quite distracted by my phone throughout the entire show so i didn’t manage to catch each and every word of the dialogues. other than that, it was great! pretty hilarious at some parts and i think the two kids were REALLY ADORABLE! (:

did my enrollment thing early during orientation registration duty and headed down to town after lunch to meet gladys and fion for our long awaited movie. i suppose this is the first time being in lido one and i’m really amazed by how big it is. hahaha. our seats were like quite far back at the end but the screen still looked pretty big! i was so excited i became really chatty before the movie started. LOL.
