lost in transit.

forgetful me left my phone in the drawer when i left my workplace just now. so yea, gonna be uncontactable by that means till 12pm tmr when i head for work again. zzz.. there goes my morning alarm and my solitaire-company on the way to work. ):

anyways, working with kern seow kinda reminds me of the times i used to call for help. *laughs* long story back then. but hahaha, i suddenly miss those times when that somebody never fails to be my hero-angel and would always come to my “rescue”. those were such happy days. oh well. on a side note, saw some promotions and i’ve got this sudden urge to go bali. ):

PC show 2009

peanuts.

and so, that was my 2nd home for the past 4 days. the booth everyone thought was selling Acer, the booth where i stood at for half a day everyday, but didn’t manage to get any customers coming back to find me. oh, maybe just.. one? *laughs* in any case, it was a good experience somehow. i made a couple of new friends and hopefully, a new linkage to better deals to work at IT fairs next time. heh.

Bad sales

happy birthday benjamin!

well, i wished i had time to update about the amazing science centre trip with DAZ but i’d be busy for the following 3 days. yup, as many already know, i’m working at the PC show as like other hundreds or thousands of people. it’s my first time working at such fair and after one day, i can conclude that i’m not a good sales person. or rather, i’m just really bad at it you can say i suck! *laughs* i almost died standing for hours and having zero sales. hahah. well, 3 more days to endure and hopefully i can have more luck.

in any case, i know this ain’t going to be of much help but anyone who wants to get a Lenovo Thinkpad or msi, please do look for me @ level 4 – booth A1931. we are not at Lenovo but somewhere near. diagonally across the big main Lenovo booth, beside Acer, just in front of Courts. (:

Terminated

the end begins.

caught the movie with the council peeps after work on Thursday. there were too too TOO MANY people i find it pretty impossible to name them all. anyways, the movie was good. better after buddy and vivi explained the story to us. i just can’t really remember watching any of the I, II or III. maybe i should catch it some day when i’m too free. we had a damn cosy ride home, squeezing 8 people in bernie’s car like as usual. *laughs* thanks for the fetch!

Fatigue

horrible.

been taking these pills for the past few days because the aches were really terrible. i wonder if those are signs of fatigue and if i’ve simply overworked myself. oh well. anyways, headed to school for our 1st logistics department meeting and boy, really have heaps to do. at least we cleared some more stuff away and packed the cupboards more neatly. hopefully we can complete more tasks the next meeting. (:

Events chalet

the past few days was spent working and at events chalet at NSRCC. i must say i was really really amazed by how much the place has changed! when it was so much older, i already liked the place very much. needless to say, looking so gorgeously new now, i’m loving it even more. it just made me wonder when they renovated it.

Tireds

i didn’t give up,

so tired recently i’ve no idea why. sometimes i just lose interest in things that used to be fun to me. maybe i don’t adore holidays as much as i thought i would. side tracking, it really pisses me off when all you simply have to do is acknowledge the sms by replying an “OK” or anything else. i really detest the feeling of putting in effort for everything, despite my busy schedule, but things cannot be done because i don’t get a response; there are certain things that needs a group decision, not just mine alone. anyways, been checking for assignment results for weeks but nothing has been released. been checking for new episodes for red thread as well but they are also not updated. grr.. i don’t like being kept in suspense and having to continue waiting forever for the unknown. ):

Maintenance

for all that matters,

i think i need more interesting photos on my blog. but for now, i’m making do with snapshots and pictures of objects. anyways, i think that salespeople can really cross- and up-sell well. or perhaps, i’m just a very easy customer. for just an eyeliner, i got myself an additional of two items. hur hur. rights. back to work, solitaired instead of reading my notes during free time, i just love the feeling of being able to slack without any guilt again. then, boss is out of town till tmr so yup, guess i’ll only get my pathetic pay on Friday..

So close

that moment.

it’s currently darkness at SIM now so i suppose the only way i can spend time is with my laptop. anyways, i almost lost my life, or rather, at least half of my life yesterday. idk what was wrong with me either; was so lost in my own world of thoughts that i actually crossed the road when the other side of the traffic light turned green. was still wondering why the cars were moving towards me when i got my senses back. quickly made my way back to safety and i reckon the people around there must have thought i was crazy to walk into the traffic with the vehicles approaching. hur. and to be honest, i was pretty traumatized, i couldnt think straight for the entire journey to work. *laughs* thinking back, if the cars were to be faster or i were to be slower for a couple of seconds, the traffic light in front of my block would have been an accident scene..
